About
Dave Ferrera has spent his career at the intersection of innovation, leadership, and purpose. From his early days as an engineer in Massachusetts to leading multi-million-dollar ventures in California and Europe, he has remained driven by a singular goal — to improve lives through better technology. Born and raised in Leominster, Massachusetts, David earned his B.S. in Plastics Engineering from the University of Lowell (now UMass Lowell), where he also played collegiate baseball. His competitive drive, technical curiosity, and commitment to excellence would later shape a career spanning startups, corporate leadership, and mentorship. David is currently the CEO and Chairman of Sonorous Neuro and the CEO of RC Medical, where he continues to collaborate with physicians, engineers, and investors to develop innovative solutions in the interventional space. As a Forbes-published author, he champions creativity, resilience, and the value of learning through iteration — seeing mistakes as stepping stones to progress rather than setbacks. Beyond his professional work, David is deeply involved in philanthropy and community leadership. He served as Chair of the American Heart Association’s Heart & Stroke Ball in Orange County in 2020 and 2021, supporting cardiovascular and stroke research. His service on boards such as Innervate Medical, Vasometrics Medical, Mehana Medical, SAGE Orange County, and Spinal Singularity underscores his dedication to innovation that matters. Away from the lab and boardroom, David enjoys traveling, wine tasting, golf, ice hockey, and family life, finding balance between relentless innovation and meaningful connection.
